This year we are charging $5 per child up until June 30th, and $10 per child starting July 1st. Payments are preferred in cash and cheques can be paid to Maple Hill Baptist Church.
Parents are being asked to sign-in their children at 8:50am each day and sign out their child at 12:30pm. On the first morning you will receive a ticket which must be brought back every afternoon to sign your child out!
At 9:00 am we will begin with 30 minutes of songs, drama and announcements. Then each group will travel either to games, crafts, snack time, the theatre (a movie then an activity) or Bible story. Each group rotates every 20 minutes. We then we meet back at the end for a follow up, songs and a skit.
Games are outside, so a hat, shoes and sunscreen are a must. Water is provided for each child when they return or freezies if it’s really hot. Children can bring their own water bottles, but they must be clearly labelled in case it gets misplaced.
Our volunteers will be distinguishable by their staff shirts and only those authorized to pick up their children can do so at the end of the day, unless otherwise arranged with the VBS director.
Parent(s) are welcome to join the staff and children and enjoy a celebration and BBQ on Friday July 14th from 12:00-1:30pm. Thank you for allowing Maple Hill to show and teach the love of God to your child(ren) this summer!
