To act as ambassadors of Christ, to comfort those experiencing trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. (John 15: 4-5)

As one might suspect this is a very active ministry. As our purpose states, with the support and love of the Body of Christ, we seek to provide comfort to those in need in and around our community.

We do this in many ways. Below we have listed a few of the annual events that are organized under the purpose of this ministry. However, if you, a fellow member of MHBC or someone you know is in need - PLEASE - contact us. Let us know, somehow, that the light of Christ needs to shine into an otherwise dim time in a person's life.

Encouragements: 24 - 7 - 365

Food Drives: Organized in the Spring and in the Fall
Benefits the Salvation Army and our Local Foodbanks at key times of the year.

Emergency supplies: 24 - 7 - 365
This is for people in our community who are in need of food vouchers, bill payments and clothing donations.

Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15: 5-6 Do you know of someone who needs comfort and encouragement? Someone who is  experiencing troubled times and could use some of the comfort we ourselves have received from God?
